Trade Event Rules & Guidelines

These are very basic rules that we should follow in order to make it a succesful trading event. If you have any questions, please contact a leader!

1) Do not be mean if someone cannot find something in your shop they need or want. Some people are very specific in the items they need. I am sure all of us would love to ALWAYS find something we need or want in everyone's shop but that is just not reality and would not be friendly to our pocket books.

2) If you can't find something you want from someones shop, be nice, we don't want hurt feelings! Kindly say maybe next time. If you offer discounts in lieu of a trade go ahead and offer it to them.

3) Try to ship out in a timely manner. If it is a "in stock" item, try to ship within the week. If it is a "custom" item please be VERY specific and HONEST about when the item will be shipped.

4) We don't talk badly about anyone or their shop during the trade event.

5) If there is an issue that cannot be solved between shops or you see that someone is not following the rules please contact the Captain or one of the leaders so we can resolve this.

6) YES! you can promote any sales you are having in your shop but mainly be there for trading. If you are NOT trading at all then its best to promote any sales or promotions you are having in the monthly chat thread.

7) The listmaster is the ONLY person allowed to add or delete (upon request) a person from the trading list.

8) You cannot change your listing to .20. It is against Etsy policy.

9) Post your transactions links on the thread and your shop name in this format when ready to have your name added:
